Cheatham County Growth Rate for New Home Permits Highest in Region

In a recent Nashville Business Journal, Cheatham County was reported to have the highest rate of growth in new home permits in the Nashville region.  We are a small county and our number of new home permits is low compared to Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, etc.  However, given that there was no growth three years ago (according to U.S. Census population estimates), this data is encouraging that smart growth is welcomed while increasing our quality of place.
